Welcome to The Southcoast Adventure Race website. We have included all of the relevant information you need to know to compete in the event within this site. Watch out for further updates and information bulletins closer to the event date, which this year is October 16th.
Our Race is based around the Market town of Skibbereen and features Trail running, Cycling, Hill climbing and Kayaking set along the South Atlantic Coast of Ireland in the scenic setting of West Cork.
Adventure Racing is one of the fastest growing sports in the world and typically is a combination of two or more endurance type activities or disciplines, which can run from over a single day event (sprint) to several days (expedition). Our event course was designed with all levels of fitness and experience in mind and all participants are sure to enjoy the challenge and adventure of the rugged West Cork terrain. All categories of athletes from the Elite, Solo’s & teams to the novices are set to experience the fun and challenge of adventure racing.
